At Eastern Maine Medical Center, we hold quality of care as our highest priority. And because we understand it’s trust that we need to continue to earn we, along with the other hospitals of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, have developed the “Quality Matters Report.” The Quality Matters Report is a part of our ongoing commitment to raise the bar and exceed the expectations of our customers by sharing with you how we compare with accepted industry standards in three major areas: clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. We believe there is a strong relationship between these areas, and high marks in all can give you added confidence in your choice of healthcare provider. Of course, there is always room for improvement, and we are continuously striving for better performance. Still, we are proud of our performance on many of the measures you will see in our Quality Matters Report. After all, as Overall Best Performer in Patient Satisfaction for five years in a row, it is our promise to you that we will continue to work meet and exceed your expectations for your EMMC experience.
